Hi! I don't really know what to say, but I guess I will just type and something will hopefully happen (the best strategy when writing a blog post). I don't know how long it has been since my last post, but it has felt like a while, so I just thought I would write an update post.
The last while, I have been tired.
I hope all is well with you guys, and I will talk to you all soon!

No, I am just kidding! But that is very much a true statement!
I've been up to both a lot and a lot of nothing. Last week/weekend was constantly go go go, but now everything has slowed down again, and I can just take a break, which I have done for this weekend... and might do again next weekend. And then I need to kick my butt into gear, because yesterday was the exact three month point for how much time I have left before returning to Canada! Which means I now only have less than three months left here!
Anyways, the main things I have been up to happened last weekend:
First was a shopping day with my host sisters, Julia and Lisa, where I bought myself a spring jacket, which I am very pleased with! Afterwards we went home, and got things ready for Lisa's birthday party. In the evening, I went to the Dom (again!) with a group of girls from my French class at school, which was a lot of fun! I won't say much about it since I have already written a post about the Dom (a seasonal carnival here in Hamburg) (I wrote the post just one or two posts back from here), but it was a good time, and I got to do a few things that I hadn't had time for the last time I went.
Then last Sunday, my host mom participated in a marathon as part of a team with her work colleagues, and I went from check point to check point with Julia, my host dad, and later my host mom, following my host mom and her team as they ran the marathon. My host mom ran 16 kilometers for the marathon, and then walked the rest of the day - no clue how she did it! I did not even run, and afterwards I was really tired! My host parents then had their friends over for an "after marathon" party of sorts, which I have no clue how they had the energy for! I stayed with everyone for about an hour, then went to my room to sleep (I needed it!).
Then it was Monday, and I had school! We have been doing dance in Gym class, and to my surprise I have been really enjoying it, so I might try and find free dance lessons to take part in, since I think it is now over in Gym. In the evening, I had Taekwondo, which also went well! But afterwards I was yet again exhausted.
Tuesday I went with my host brother, host sister, and around ten of my host brother's friends to an amusement park called Heide Park - which was amazingly fun! Our school must have been the only school with no classes that day, because the park was almost completely empty, and we were able to not wait at all for almost every ride. There is one wooden roller coaster, called Colosos, that usually has a waiting time of two or three hours - and we were able to just stay in our seats on the ride, and go for four or five consecutive "drives" through the roller coaster! That was really cool! I could maybe say more about this, but as I will soon mention, I am tired. I have been writing my journal (somewhat) lately, and I wrote an entry about that day. If you guys want, I can go through that and use it to help me write a more in depth blog post about my day there.
The week afterwards was really quiet, and filled with school, schoolwork, homework, and my neglecting the last two in the list in order to try and (unsuccessfully) catch up on my sleep again. I am still tired, even now, but it is getting better!
The weekend was slow/quiet (by my choice), and I think I needed it. Today I went to church. And I don't plan on doing anything else today, just relaxing.
Sorry for the quality of this post, it is probably rather disappointing, but I did not want to simply not post anything. If this is your first time at my blog, please please please go back and read an older post - I swear that they are better!
I have been having a good time, though! I am really enjoying myself here in Hamburg!
I hope all is well with you guys (for real this time), and I will talk to you soon!
